SCR is primarily funded and maintained by owners Carrie and Geoff Winkler. They have been so invested in the ranch, doing everything from rehabbing animals to cleaning stalls every day.
Lydia Dedera has been a part of SCR since its one-year anniversary. She adores the ranch and is looking forward to training and homing lots of horses (especially mustangs) in the years to come!

We believe that every horse deserves a chance at a good life.
Our mission is to help as many homeless horses as we can get into loving families.
We buy neglected horses from auctions, accept certain surrendered horses, and train wild horses that could not be properly sustained in the wild.
